How you doing?
I hope you guys are having a great week. This post is going to be about something I discovered recently and it blew my mind. Firstly, I would like to ask you a simple question. How many of you had maintained a journal or a personal diary in your childhood? And how many of you have been regular at it?
When it comes to me, I have tried a lot to maintain a personal diary but failed miserably. Recently, I saw a video on Buzzfeed, where people started writing a journal for 30 days straight. The results were pretty amazing though. Few of them had discovered a different part of themselves where as few of them just hated every single minute of writing a journal. So I researched a bit about, how journaling every single day could help a person. It turns out that, people who journal every single day are much more focused, calm and are in great harmony with themselves. They know who they truly are from inside and pretty much find the solutions to their problems just by writing it down on a piece of paper.
There are so many Youtubers and bloggers who talk about journaling and how journaling has helped them through out their lives. One of my favourite YouTuber is Tina Cody on her channel overalladventures, talks about how journaling has completely changed her life and how she finds peace in clearing her head by writing it all down.
I was so inspired as I researched about the whole idea behinde a simple Journal, that I have decided to start writing every single day and experience the change in me. I understand that we have a very hectic schedule and you would rather stay on your phone and unwind. I am that person too. But think about the consequences and the self-satisfaction you are going to feel after spending just few minutes in a corner, writing about how your day was, what made you happy, what part of the day was challenging, the list is endless. Just grab a cute note-book and a fine pen, choose a corner and let your words flow through the ink on the paper. It might seem hard but its worth the try.
I am taking it step by step and challenging myself to write at least five days a week, gradually increasing it 7 days straight. I will make sure that I prioritize my time accordingly, to spend at least 10 minutes a day to journal. Who knows, it might increase to half an hour a day? Lets do it together and track our progress. I will keep updating you guys about my experience and share my tips on journaling. I challenge you guys to go, buy a notebook which inspires you to write and start journaling everyday. I am sure, it is definitely worth a try.
I will link the YouTube channel which inspired me to just begin writing and I hope it inspires you as much as it inspired me.
I will see you guys in my next post.
